For only the second time in its nine year history, the New York Red Bulls Under-23 team is heading to the Second Round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup after getting by National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) side FC Motown on penalty kicks.

All the goals came in a thrilling first half where both teams threatened to score multiple times. Former MLS player Dilly Duka was the star of the night scoring a brace for his new club.
