Three goals in six minutes helped Minnesota United FC erase a one-goal deficit in the second half as the Loons defeated Detroit City FC at Keyworth Stadium.

Detroit City FC battled valiantly against the United Soccer League side FC Cincinnati for 90 minutes to a 1-1 draw in the US Open Cup. Unfortunately for the underdogs from the Motor City, the cup match went an additional 30 minutes, and FC Cincinnati rallied to score three in extra time to defeat the NPSL club 4-1.
