With a brace before the half hour mark, Manotas singlehandedly wrote Houston Dynamo history leading the club to a 3-0 win the 2018 US Open Cup Final.

Mauro Manotas scored two goals to help the Houston Dynamo beat the Philadelphia Union, 3-0, to become the first South Texas team in tournament history to win the US Open Cup.

The 105th edition of the US Open Cup Final will take place at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas as the hometown Houston Dynamo will host the Philadelphia Union. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
