2011 PDL Qualifying

Shorthanded Kitsap Pumas hold off Portland Timbers U23s to qualify for 2011 US Open Cup

In a brand new way to qualify for the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, the Kitsap Pumas defeated the Portland Timbers U23s 3-2 in a PDL regular season match that doubled as a tiebreaker for qualification. The Pumas will travel to El Paso, Tx. for their opening round match on June 14 where they will face fellow PDL side Chivas El Paso Patriots.

The US Open Cup May qualifying marathon

Breakdown for 2011 USL PDL US Open Cup Qualifying: Western Conference
