Second-half substitute Emiliano Terzaghi’s late strike in extra time helped the Richmond Kickers stave off an upset by outlasting North Carolina Fusion U-23s, 1-0.

After a very long road trip, D.C. United returned ‘home’ to the Maryland SoccerPlex on Tuesday night, defeating North Carolina FC, 4-3 in penalties in their first match in the 2018 US Open Cup.
