The United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) has changed their qualifying deadline for the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, which has created some confusion among fans who follow the tournament from its earliest stages. Hopefully we can clear up some of the confusion.

Colorado Rovers repeat as USSSA champions, clinch US Open Cup berth in shutout-filled qualifying tournament

Goalkeeper Mark Saxby of the Colorado Rovers didn’t allow a single goal throughout the tournament and was named MVP of the championship game as they defeated the Kansas City Athletics 1-0 in extra time.

2014 US Open Cup qualifying: Four USSSA clubs emerge from Saturday group stage

The second day of the United States Sports Specialty Association’s US Open Cup qualifying tournament produced four semifinalists. Those four winners will square off on Sunday in Overland Park, Kan. to decide which club will represent the USSSA in the 101st edition of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, which will kick off in May.
