Major League Soccer’s hottest team, Los Angeles FC, leading the league in nearly every category, came out victorious with a 3-0 victory over Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium.

2018 US Open Cup Round 4: Sporting KC begins defense of USOC title with 2-0 win at Real Salt Lake

Sporting Kansas City last eliminated Real Salt Lake in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in the semifinals in 2015. Sporting Kansas City again eliminated Real Salt Lake in 2018 with a 2-0 victory, with goals coming from Johnny Russell in the 48th minute, and Kharlton Belmar in the 74th minute. Belmar assisted Russell for the first goal, and Russell assisted Belmar for the second goal.

2017 US Open Cup Round 4: Sacramento Republic conquer RSL to earn first win over MLS team
