2017 US Open Cup Round 1: Reading United edge Clarkstown Eagles to break another Modern Era record

Showing toughness that Reading looks for, it held on for a 1-0 win over Clarkstown SC Eagles Wednesday at Don Thomas Stadium. The win is the sixth straight in the opening round, giving Reading another Modern Era (1995-present) Open Cup record for an amateur team.
