The Rhinos broke the club record for goals in a US Open Cup
Despite blowing away their opponents on the stat sheet, the Rochester Rhinos were only able to put one past Greater Binghamton Thunder goalkeeper Jason Stenta in a 1-0 victory.
After an early goal and multiple delays because of rain and lightning, the Rochester Rhinos of USL PRO staved off the defending US Open Cup champion DC United 1-0 in Fourth Round play. Colin Rolfe scored the match’s lone goal with a finish in the 27th minute.
With the win, the Rhinos advance to the Fourth Round where they will host defending US Open Cup champion DC United from Major League Soccer.
