Eric Wynalda’s Cal FC joins PSA Elite from Region IV to complete 2012 US Open Cup field

A coin flip conducted by the USSF determined that Cal FC will travel to Bremerton, Wash to take on the PDL’s Kitsap Pumas while the Portland Timbers U23s will host the PSA Elite at Jeld-Wen Field in the First Round.

2012 US Open Cup qualifying: Seven California teams, ‘New Mexico’ rep to battle in USASA Region IV tourney

The tournament, which received permission to play a week after the qualifying deadline, begins with two groups of four playing a round robin with each group winner earning the final two US Open Cup spots. The teams that qualify will play either the Portland Timbers U23s or the Kitsap Pumas.
