2013 US Open Cup First Round: Home teams, hat tricks dominate the opening round full of comebacks

The First Round of the 2013 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup belonged to the home teams for the 100th edition of the tournament Tuesday night as one game remains on Wednesday. The hosts advanced in 13 of the 17 contests on the night with the four road teams that are moving on all coming out of contests versus opponents that were virtually in-state.
