2015 US Open Cup qualifying updates: Two USASA Region III spots to be decided this weekend in Alabama
While the official format for the 2015 US Open Cup is not expected to be announced until next year, USASA officials are expecting to retain their two Region III spots, so the champion and the runner-up of the tournament will qualify. 2012 US Open Cup Quarterfinals: Tempers flare as Sounders escape with 1-0 win over San Jose Earthquakes
The win-or-go-home nature of the tournament resulted in a fiercely competitive game, which featured numerous yellow cards to both teams, a straight red card to Earthquakes forward Alan Gordon, and a post game melee resulting from the intense emotions surrounding the match.

2012 US Open Cup qualifying: USASA Maryland Qualifying down to four with Christos FC, Charm City wins
Christos FC and Charm City emerged victorious in the first round of the Maryland state tournament in 2012 US Open Cup qualifying action. Christos moves on to play Maryland Bays in the semifinals while Charm City will take on Baltimore Juniors FC. The semis will take place at Western Regional Park, Field #5 on Sunday February 19th.
