USSF unveils 2010 US Open Cup format

The US Soccer Federation announced the dates and format for the 97th Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, with the tournament following the same setup as recent years – with one interesting exception. Once again, 40 teams will take aim at being the team to lift the Dewar Challenge Trophy and claim the $100,000 winner’s prize in the final Oct. 5.

The 2010 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup qualifying format has been released and the US Soccer Federation announced that all of the USSF Division 2 clubs will be entered into the tournament.
